While Fishing is the first essential hobby you unlock during the Main Quest, your journey follows a structured path. After completing more missions, you will automatically unlock Gardening as your second mandatory hobby.
Once you progress further, the game gives you the freedom to choose your third hobby from three exciting options: Cooking, Birdwatching, or Insect Catching.
If you decide to pursue the path of an entomologist first, you will meet your mentor—a young boy named Naniwa. He will guide you through the basics of insect catching, including butterflies, bees, and various other insects. Don't worry about your choice, as you will eventually be able to unlock and master all hobbies as you continue your adventure in Heartopia.

The Foundations: Weather and Time
Before you head out with your net, you must understand the two most critical factors in insect hunting: Weather and Time.
The Three Weather States
Heartopia officially recognizes three primary weather conditions that affect insect spawns:
Sunny (Cerah)
Rainy / Snowy (Hujan/Salju): In terms of game mechanics, Snow and Rain are treated exactly the same.
Rainbow (Pelangi)
The Four Time Windows
Your Collection Book features four specific time slots. Understanding these is simple but crucial:
