Heartopia Stamina Guide: How to Restore Energy by Sleeping, Eating, and More

In Heartopia, every activity from gardening and fishing to mining consumes your energy. Managing your Stamina is the key to staying productive. If your energy bar is empty, you won't be able to perform these essential tasks.

Here is the complete guide on how to recharge your stamina, featuring efficient recovery methods and social spots!

Note: This guide is regularly updated to match the latest Heartopia version. Last update: March 23, 2026.

1. Sleeping (Home Recovery)

Sleeping is the most reliable and consistent way to fully recharge your stamina for free.

  • The Mechanic: Interacting with a bed triggers the Unwind Buff, restoring 1 Stamina point every 5 seconds.
  • Beyond Your Home: You can also use beds in a friend's house or even a stranger's house to recover.
  • Home Settings: This only works if the owner has set their furniture permissions to "Anyone." If the owner sets their home setting to "Self Only," the bed cannot be used by other players.

2. Cafe Courtyard (Social Hub)

The Cafe Courtyard offers a social way to recover stamina. It features a permanent version of a specific consumable item, allowing you to recharge while meeting other players.
  • The Mechanic: Look for the table shaped like the "Free-spirited Coffee Umbrella" (standing coffee table). While the actual item only lasts for 30 minutes, the table at the Cafe is permanent and always available.
  • Recovery Rate: Sitting here grants the Unwind Buff, restoring 1 Energy every 5 seconds (the same speed as sleeping).
  • Private Chat: You can chat with anyone at the table, but your messages are only visible to other players using the same umbrella table.

3. Onsen (Hot Spring Relaxation)

Located North of the City Center, the Onsen is a great spot for passive recovery while enjoying the scenery.
  • The Mechanic: Walking or soaking in the hot spring water triggers the Comfy Onsen Buff.
  • Recovery Rate: This buff restores 1 Energy every 10 seconds.
  • Hidden Achievement: If you soak in the hot spring together with a friend, you will unlock a secret achievement: "Onsen Buddy."

4. Food & Cooking

While resting provides a steady flow of energy, eating is the fastest way to recharge while you are on the go.
  • Cooked Dishes: Always prioritize cooked meals over raw ingredients. They are significantly more effective and provide a much larger stamina boost.
  • Instant Boost: Unlike sleeping or buffs, eating provides an instant recharge, making it the best option for emergencies during long adventures in the wild.
