The Forest east of town is a vital habitat for birds. Please be careful and protect the ecosystem when you visit.
Birdwatching can be a hobby, but if you’re conducting bird banding, proper training and permits are required in advance.
Bird ringing requires uniquely numbered ankle rings on birds—a classic method for studying migration patterns and population dynamics.
Migratory birds sometimes need specialized pilots to guide them... Speaking of which, my aircraft components still aren’t ready. Sigh.
