Fruit
In the east of the island, apple trees yield sweet apples, while in the west, mandarin trees offer tangy mandarins. Blueberry Bushes are widespread, but the crystal-clear raspberries are exclusive to western bushes.
Chop Trees or harvest bushes for corresponding fruits.
Fruits can be eaten directly to restore energy, or used to cook delicious dishes.
Bushes
Bushes are common in town suburbs. They're green or yellow-green, round, and some even have flowers, making them easy to spot.
Collecting in the bushes will yield branches, and you might also find blueberries, raspberries, and other wild berries.
Timber
Whale Island is lush with vegetation: the eastern forest has towering conifers reaching into the clouds, the north features uniquely shaped palms, the west offers low-growing green fan palms, and the south boasts magnificent oaks. Near the town, many straight white birches stand tall.
These trees are the main sources of timber for daily needs, which you can collect using a pickaxe.
However, logging has its principles. After gathering, you also need to give the trees some time to recover.
Also, there's a mysterious traveler, "Oak-Oak." It loves to travel but frequently becomes entangled in the abundant oak roots.
Due to its size, managing it alone is quite a challenge...
It's known to enjoy visiting D.G. Members' homes, often making appearances nearby.
If you meet one in need of help on the road, feel free to show your kindness. You might even receive precious Roaming Oak Timber!
Ore
The plains of Whale Island are dotted with ores—light gray ones provide stone, while black ones yield iron ores.
Just like logging, you can use the pickaxe to mine for corresponding ores from mineral resources.
However, there’s one ore that stands out—the night-glowing flawless fluorite.
Flawless fluorite is quite beautiful, but how to find it remains a mystery.
Rumor has it that the fluorite mine, much like Oak-Oak, appears in various locations. But I’ve never heard of any walking mines, could it be...
Anyway, if you come across flawless fluorites, remember to give them a quick tap and take a closer look—you might discover something interesting!
