Nest of Hundreds Event Guide

The Bird-Calming Device that Bailey J set up at the Fishing Village Wharf requires continuous maintenance. In this event, your main goal is to spot exclusive birds that only appear during the event timeframe. If you get lucky, you can trigger an Extra Phase to discover secret bird species that are unique to that phase. Don't forget to pop bubbles throughout the event to gain extra helpful buffs!

1. Event Overview

Before turning on the device, make sure you meet the event prerequisites: 

• Unlock Requirement: Reach Developers Guild (DG) Level 8 
• Hobby Required: Birdwatching 
• Location: Fishing Village 
• Schedule: 17:00 (Server Time)

2. How to Start

Ready to start the birdwatching session? Follow these simple steps: 

• Locate the Birdwatching Device at the Fishing Village Square. 
• Select the Nest of Hundreds Event. 
• Click Start and then Confirm. 

💡 PRO-TIP (FAST TRAVEL)

You can quickly teleport to the Birdwatching Device by talking to NPC Bailey J at Central Square (on the second floor, right above Mrs. Joan's Pet Home.

2.1 The Preparation Phase

Once activated, you will be given a 10-minute preparation period. 

• Invite Everyone
  Invite as many friends as possible! A larger group makes completing the Team Goal much easier and significantly boosts your chances of triggering the Extra Phase (Phase 2). 
• Ready Up
  When everyone is good to go, click the "Start Now" button to begin immediately without waiting for the timer to run out.

3. Event Costs

You can participate in this event completely for free during its scheduled daily time. However, if you want to open the event manually without waiting for the schedule, you can host it using Gold or Wishing Stars. The exponential hosting costs will reset back to the base price every week following the server reset time.

4. Gameplay & Mechanics

Before starting, make sure your stamina is full and your Scanner tool has maximum durability, as this event heavily drains your energy! 

The event progresses through several timed phases and map rotations: 

• Phase 1 (Capture Time)
  5 Minutes at the Fishing Village. 
• Bonus Time (Burst Mode)
  Triggering Burst Mode grants an additional 1-minute time bonus. 
• Transfer Position (If Lucky)
  1 Minute relocation time to the Lighthouse for Phase 2. 
• Extra Phase (Phase 2)
  4 Minutes of rare birdwatching at the Lighthouse.

4.1 How to Use the Scanner

Equip your Scanner from your toolbox and apply these observation techniques:

• Aim the Scanner close to a bird, then tap the Scan button. 
• Use the slider on the left side of the screen to zoom in. 
• Capture Special Actions
  Take a photo when a bird performs a unique or special action to secure a higher star rating. 

⚠️ NOTE

When birds show signs of being nervous, immediately maintain a safe distance! If you get too close, they will get scared and fly away.

5. Triggering Burst Mode

Burst Mode Triggered is a special bonus effect that activates when a player takes a high-quality photo of a bird. 

Bonus Mechanism, this notification does not mean the camera takes continuous shots. Instead, it is a bonus mechanism that gives the photo a chance to yield extra Info Cards. This allows you to collect significantly more cards from a single scan opportunity.

6. How to Trigger the Extra Phase (Phase 2)

The bonus phase at the Lighthouse area does not have a 100% guaranteed trigger because it operates on a random probability system. However, you and your team can maximize your chances by following these strategies: 

• Continuously scan as many birds as possible without stopping during Phase 1. 
• Hustle to complete both your personal goal and team goal quickly. 
• Spam birdwatching items together with your team periodically to boost the phase's spawn chance. 
• Work together to trigger a Bird Wave (Burst Mode Triggered) . 
• Play in a Large Group
  Playing with multiple players in a party helps immensely because event points accumulate much faster. The best approach is to stay active and contribute consistently until the event officially concludes.

7. Bubble Buffs

Once you reach your personal goal, bubbles will begin to appear. Pop them to trigger buff effects that apply to your entire party. Here is the list of available buffs:

	Energy Boost	Restores 2 Energy per second for 30s.
	Tool Repair	Restores 2% Durability to the current equipped tool per second. 30s
	Tool Repair 1	Restores 3% Durability to the current equipped tool per second.
	Overstuffed	Increase Max Energy by 50 for 30s.
	Swift Stride	Increase Movement Speed by 40% for 30s.
	Featherlight	Body feels light, allowing to jump higher 30s.

8. Essential Birdwatching Items

Bring these tools along to make observation and photography much easier: 

•  Auto Bird Whistle
  After use, nearby birds (except those perched on a Bird Perch) will change postures and motions more frequently for 3 minutes. Perfect for hunting special action shots! 
•  Camouflage Bush
  Summons a camouflaged bush that lasts for 240 seconds. While inside this bush, birds will not detect your presence, letting you approach freely without scaring them.
• Item Sharing Feature
  When a player activates this item, other nearby players can also benefit from the bush effect simply by clicking the grass icon that appears above the user's head.

10. Goals & Rewards

Once you or your team successfully hit the required star thresholds below, the rewards are guaranteed to be yours instantly: 

1. Personal Goal 

• Requirement: Scan birds to collect Info Cards with a total of 30 stars. 
• Reward: Surprise Gacha x1 

2. Team Goal 

• Requirement: Collect bird Info Cards totaling a cumulative 150 stars together with your team. 
• Reward: Surprise Gacha x1

11. Event Titles

These unique titles will automatically appear at the end of the session based on your specific contributions or feats during the birdwatching event:

12. Hidden Achievement: Bush Wholesaler

Want to unlock a unique hidden achievement? You can secure "Bush Wholesaler" by completing the following method: 

• How to Unlock
  Share your Camouflage Bush objects with your fellow D.G. (Developers Guild) members for a total of 100 times / people. 
• Calculation System
  Progress for this achievement is calculated cumulatively. You don't have to complete all 100 shares in a single event run. You can slowly accumulate them whenever you play, and as soon as your total history of D.G. members utilizing your camouflage bush reaches 100, this secret achievement will automatically unlock!
