How to Bind Your Account (Security Center)

Since the Global version of Heartopia does not offer a Guest Account option, you must initially log in using one of the primary platforms: Google, Apple, or Facebook. Once you have passed this initial login phase, you can then bind your existing Steam account to your profile.

Note: This guide is regularly updated to match the latest Heartopia version. Last update: March 23, 2026.

You can manage your additional login methods through these two ways:

1. Via In-Game Menu (Watch)

If you are already inside the game world, follow this path:

• Tap the Watch icon (Main Menu) in the top right.
• Go to Settings > Select the General tab.
• Tap Account Management.
• Enter the Security Center, then choose your platform (Choose a Platform).

2. Via Game Lobby (Before Starting)

You can also manage your account before clicking the "Start" button:

• On the login/lobby screen, locate and tap the Account Security Center icon.
• Select the platform you wish to link, such as Steam, to secure your data (Choose a Platform).

Supported Login & Binding Platforms

• Initial Login: Google Account, Apple ID, or Facebook.
• Secondary Binding: Steam (Connect your Steam account after the initial login to sync progress across PC and Mobile).

Technical Note: The "No Unbind" Policy

Please be aware that while Heartopia allows you to "Switch Account" (log out and log in with a different platform), it currently does not support an "Unbind" feature. 

Once a third-party account (like Google, Facebook, or Steam) is linked to your character, the connection is permanent and cannot be removed or swapped to a different email. The only other option in the Security Center is "Delete Account," which will permanently erase all your progress. Please choose your primary login account carefully!
