Managing multiple characters or switching to an alternate account is a common practice in Heartopia. Whether you want to start a fresh journey, manage a secondary resource account, or use an alt account to support your main character, here is the safest way to switch accounts.

How to Switch Accounts (In-Game)

If you are already logged into the game, follow these precise steps to log out:

  1. Open Watch – Tap the Watch icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Go to Settings – Select the Gear icon (Settings) inside the Watch menu.
  3. Select General Tab – On the left-side menu, ensure you are on the General tab.
  4. Account Management – Look for the Account ID section and tap on Account Management.
  5. Security Center – Select the Security Center option.
  6. Log Out – Tap the Logout button to return to the Title Screen.

How to Switch Accounts (From Lobby)

If you are still on the Title Screen (before clicking Start), there is a faster way:

  1. Tap Profile Icon – Look for the Profile/User icon on the Title Screen.
  2. Account Security Center – This will take you directly to the Account Security Center.
  3. Log Out – Tap Logout to switch to a different Google, Apple, or social media ID.

Will My Photos Be Deleted?

Switching accounts on the same device will not delete your game data or photo gallery. Your photos are safe as long as the app is still installed on your current device.

Warning for Switching Devices:

Your photo gallery will be lost if you Switch Devices or Reinstall the game. To prevent losing your precious memories, make sure to Backup your photos or use the Favorite feature to secure them before moving to a new device.
