One of Rumble Adventure Park’s featured activities! Before starting, make sure to prepare your Insect Net from your toolbox. Your main goal here is to start catching insects using bubbles from your Bubble Net. Discover 1 exclusive insect that can only be found during this event inside the Scout Phase if you get lucky enough to trigger it. Gather your friends and start hunting together!

1. Event Overview

Before turning on the device, make sure you meet the event prerequisites: 

• Unlock Requirement: Reach Developers Guild (DG) Level 8 
• Hobby Required: Insect Catching 
• Location: Onsen Mountain 
• Schedule: 11:00 and 20:00 (Server Time)

2. How to Start

Ready to start the bug hunt? Follow these simple steps: 

1. Locate the Bait the Insects Sonic Device at Onsen Mountain (Near the bus stop). 
2. Select the Bait the Insects Event.
3. Click Start and then Confirm. 

💡 PRO-TIP (FAST TRAVEL)

You can quickly teleport to the Onsen Mountain Bus Stop by talking to NPC Naniwa at Garden Street (near Central Square).

2.1 The Preparation Phase

Once activated, you will be given a 10-minute preparation period. 

• Invite Everyone
  Invite as many friends as possible! A larger group makes completing the Team Goal much easier and significantly boosts your chances of triggering the Scout Phase (Phase 3). 
• Ready Up
  When everyone is good to go, click the "Start Now" button to begin immediately without waiting for the timer to run out.

3. Event Costs

You can participate in this event completely for free during its scheduled daily time. However, if you want to open the event manually without waiting for the schedule, you can host it using Gold or Wishing Stars. The exponential hosting costs will reset back to the base price every week following the server reset time.

4. Gameplay & Mechanics

Make sure your stamina is full and your tools have maximum durability before starting, as this event heavily drains your energy! 

The event progresses through several timed phases and map rotations:

• Phase 1
  3 Minutes at Onsen Mountain. 
• Transfer Position
  1 Minute relocation time to Crater Lake. 
• Phase 2
  3 Minutes at Crater Lake. 
• Transfer Position (If Lucky)
  1 Minute relocation time to the Ruins. 
• Phase 3 (Scout Phase)
  3 Minutes of premium bug catching at the Ruins.

4.1 How to Catch Insects

Equip your Bubble Net and choose your hunting style depending on the insect's behavior:

• Hold (Charge Bubble)
  Perfect for long-range, stealthy captures. Approach slowly and release to trap the bug with a bubble. 
• Tap (Quick Bubble)
  Great for aggressive, close-range captures. Dash or jump toward the insect and tap quickly. 

⚠️ NOTE

Some insects are extremely sensitive to their surroundings and will quickly flee if you approach them carelessly!

5. Triggering an Insect Swarm

An Insect Swarm is a special bonus trigger that spawns a massive wave of bugs in the area—even more than what the regular attractor item (Inflatable Insect Attractor) can pull in!

  1 minute
• How to trigger
  Catch as many insects as possible, achieve Double Catches (catching two at once), or repeatedly spam insect items together with your team.

6. How to Trigger the Scout Phase (Phase 3)

Up to this point, there is no guaranteed formula to force Phase 3 to open, as it triggers completely at random. However, you can significantly optimize your chances: 

• Play with a large group of players and continuously spam Insect Items simultaneously.
• Don't worry, The game ensures that every player will get a chance to experience this secret phase at least once a week, whether playing solo or in a party, as long as you keep trying.

7. Essential Insect Catching Items

Bring these tools along to secure your targets faster and boost your total yield:

•  Inflatable Insect Attractor
  Greatly increases the number of insects in the current area for 60s. Effect varies by area. The more insects around, the better it works!
•  Sense Booster
  Highlights nearby insects for 120s and guarantees capture of locked targets.

9. Goals & Rewards

Don't leave the event early! Stay until the final timer completely runs out to ensure your gacha rewards land safely in your inventory. 

1. Personal Goal 

• Requirement: Catch at least 10 insects. 
• Reward:  Surprise Gacha x1 

2. Team Goal 

• Requirement: Catch 50 insects collectively with your team. 
• Reward:  Surprise Gacha x1

10. Event Titles

Show off your catching skills by accomplishing these specific feats during the event:

• Fastest Catcher
  Be the first player to complete their personal goal. 
• Chatty Catcher
  Be the first player to send 5 chat messages. 
• Greedy Insect
  Be the first player to consume 3 food items. 
• Insect Photographer
  Be the first player to take photos of 3 different insects.
• Insect Master
  Catch 50 or more insects. (Tip: Let your teammates get the Fastest Catcher title first before aiming for this!) 
• Naniwa's First Apprentice
  Be the absolute first player to surpass 50 insect catches in a single session.

11. Hidden Achievement: Onsen Mountain Insect King

Want to prove you are the ultimate collector? You can unlock the prestigious "Onsen Mountain Insect King" hidden achievement by unlocking every single title listed above. 

💡 PRO-TIP

You do NOT need to get all titles in a single session! You can accumulate them one by one across multiple event runs whenever you play. As long as your account record shows you have held each title at least once, the hidden achievement will unlock automatically.
